Frequently Asked Questions

You may have lots of questions that you would like answers to before we begin working together and this is fine!  This is why I offer a free, no obligation 15 minute consultation, contact me to find out more.

  • How can your consulting services help our voluntary sector organisation?

I provide tailored support to help your organisation to grow and thrive. I can offer strategic planning support, fundraising advice, marketing strategies, and operational improvements to ensure you can make the greatest impact.

  • What experience do you have in this area?

I have extensive experience. I've worked for a very large charity, I'm the Founder and CEO of a national charity, I've been a trustee and I'm a serial volunteer.  I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that you may face and am dedicated to providing personalised solutions that meet your specific needs.

  •  How do you tailor your services to fit our charity's unique needs?

By talking to you, but mainly by listening!  We will then discuss options, this is a partnership!

  • What is the cost of your services?

Power Hours are a one off fee of £100. Daily rates start at £300 dependent on the work and can be as low as £250 for clients who want a 6 month contract. Please contact me for a detailed quote.

  • Can you help us with fundraising and grant writing?

Yes, I can help you identify potential funding sources, develop compelling grant proposals, and create effective fundraising strategies to increase your revenue.

  • How do we get started with your consulting services?

Getting started is easy! Simply contact me to schedule an initial call. We will discuss your needs, answer any questions you may have, and I will tell you honestly whether I can offer support to meet your objectives.  If I can't, then I will probably know somebody who can!

  • Are consultations online or face to face?
The vast majority of my clients choose to have online consultations. I am however able to offer face to face consultations if you prefer in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Online consultations are extremely effective, as a recent research study I was involved in proved.
  • What happens during the 15 minute free consultation?
We will get to know each other and discuss what you want to get out of the sessions with me. I will be able to assess whether I am the right person to support your needs. We will also explore whether we have rapport, the relationship between the coach and the coachee is key, you need to feel comfortable in the sessions.
  • How do I know if coaching is right for me?
    · Do you want to meet your full potential, you just aren’t sure how? · Do you sometimes feel you are lacking in skills or confidence and it holds you back? · Do you put off making decisions or fail to stick to those decisions you have made? · Do you assume others are better than you? · Are you ready to explore new and exciting ideas? · Are you ready to take control of your own life? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then coaching can most definitely support you to make the changes you want to make and lead the life you want to live.
